Minister Keith E. Gordon is Pastor / Teacher of Love of Christ Baptist Church of Chicago. With a loving heart, our pastor believes in being a servant / leader. He understands that God has called him here TO serve the members and not TO be served. With a loving spirit and a big heart for those who are hurting, pastor Keith believes in building relationships more than being religious. The members recognize him by many names within the congregation. He is considered a great friend, a brother, servant, a custodian, a confidant, a little brother, a big brother, a son, a grandson, and even a father figure. Many call him Keith, Pastor Keith, brother Keith, Pastor Gordon, or brother Gordon. He is such a blessing to us.

Brother Keith is a native of the south side of Chicago where he grew up in the Englewood  & Washington Heights District in the inner – city of Chicago. 

Pastor Gordon is the 2nd Vice Moderator of the Northwood River Baptist District Association, He is the Treasurer of the Illinois Missionary Baptist State Convention within the National Missionary Baptist Convention.  He is a Board member of the Southside Pregnancy Center, and he is also one of the Founding Board members and Director of Biblical Counseling Instruction at the Chicagoland Association of Biblical Counseling.

Brother Gordon completed his undergraduate work at The University of Illinois at Chicago where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management. He is presently completing his Masters Degree in Urban Ministry at The Moody Theological Seminary and Graduate School of Chicago.

Pastor Keith is a  dynamic leader / administrator, insightful visionary, gifted evangelist, a man of prayer, one who believes in holiness, & a practical  teacher and student of the Word of God. He possesses a great sense of humor and a humble but warm personality.  As an expository (verse by verse) teacher of the bible, Rev Gordon has taught the bible all across the world in London, Canada, Africa and throughout the United States.

Brother Keith Gordon truly loves his family. He is married to his lovely wife and best friend Latricia “Sister Trish” Gordon.  She has been blessed to President of her own business as a Licensed (Degreed) & Professional Interior Architect / Designer and Website Designer. She serves as a Women’s Bible Teacher and Praise Dancer. They have three beautiful children in Stephen Joseph, Grace Lynn and James Josiah.

Keith spends his leisure with his wife and children. Enjoys watching and playing sports. He loves to read. Listens to Christian and Jazz music. Spends time with friends and extended family. He enjoys a great game of chess.
